Skills and Experience

To be successful in the childcare cook role, you will have:

• Experience working in the Early Childhood Sector (desireable)
• Ability to manage dietary restrictions and allergies
• Awareness of cultural food requirements
• Strong food safety and hygiene practices
• Australian working rights

Desireable:

• HLTAID012- Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

Mandatory Qualifications & Checks

• “I am Alert” or equivalent Food Safety Certification
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
