A skilled Childcare Cook contributes to a positive daily experience for children, families and educators. They support the preparation and delivery of meals and snacks while working within the routines, dietary requirements and operational needs of an early learning environment.

Before introducing a Childcare Cook to a centre, we complete relevant checks that may include:

• In-person interview with Entrée Early Years
• Verification of relevant cookery, food-handling or food-safety qualifications where held
• Review of experience in childcare, education, hospitality or high-volume food preparation settings
• Reference checking in line with our recruitment process
• Confirmation of work rights and required employment documentation
• Collection and review of relevant child-safety and compliance documentation
