Cancellation and Minimum
Shift Policy Update

OUR COMMITMENT

At Entrée Early Years Recruitment, our top priority is providing exceptional service to our valued clients and candidates. With a dedication to respect and transparency; we strive to exceed our client's expectations in every aspect of our work. As part of this commitment, we have updated our cancellation policy and minimum shift obligations to support their needs better.

We understand that candidate shift requirements can change frequently and want to ensure that our policies reflect this. Therefore, we aim to work with our centres to enhance their rostering systems and staff requirements while increasing our candidate's commitment and engagement.

CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

1.1 Shift Cancellation

To ensure that we can provide the best possible support to our clients and candidates, Entrée Early Years Recruitment requires that any shift cancellations be notified by 8:00 pm the night before the shift. This will allow us to make the necessary arrangements to ensure that centres are fully staffed with qualified professionals

1.2 How to Cancel a Shift

You can cancel a shift with us by emailing mail@earlyyears.au, texting, or calling 0439 991 142. These are the only acceptable notification channels for cancellations.

If you do not contact us using these methods of communication by 8:00 pm the night before the shift or if a shift is booked then cancelled on the same day, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $200 plus GST. Please note, this cancellation fee is only applied if we have filled the shift and you have been notified the shift has been filled.  We may notify you by phone, text or email.

 1.3 Our Operating Hours

Our hours of operation are below.  Please note that cancellation texts or emails received after 8:00 pm on the day before a shift will miss our cancellation cut off and the cancellation fee of $200 plus GST will be payable.

  • 6:00 am – 9:00 pm Monday to Thursday
  • 6:00 am – 5:00 pm Friday
  • 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday

1.4 Public Holidays

In the event of a Public Holiday, please notify us by 8:00 pm the evening before the next business day.

1.5 Releasing Candidates Early

Due to market conditions and labour shortages, we are making some changes with respect to our minimum engagement for longer shifts.  If you book a shift for 4 hours or more and want to release the candidate before the shift is scheduled to end, then the minimum charge will be 4 hours.

We will endeavour to pay our candidates accordingly to remunerate them for lost time. Please note the 4 hour minimum does not apply in the event of poor performance or other misconduct. If you have any performance issues with our candidates, please let us know as soon as possible.

2. Continuous Shifts

If a casual candidate begins their shift at your centre and you require them to work at a different centre, the shift will be considered continuous. This means your centres will be charged for the time worked in all locations plus the travel time and mileage expenses between your centres and any paid breaks.  Please note you must contact us prior to directing our candidates to another location.

OUR OBLIGATIONS

We are grateful for your continued trust and support, and we want to take a moment to express our sincerest thanks. As a company dedicated to providing exceptional service, we are committed to keeping you well-informed and aware of any charges that may arise.

Our team will work closely with you to avoid unnecessary fees, and we will do our utmost to deliver a transparent and seamless experience.
