With \u201cUnderstanding Children\u2019s Behaviour\u201d, we look at relationship-based, empathetic interpretation of behaviour, building child\u2019s regulation through co-regulation with adults, the importance of shared standards, scripts and expectations in staff teams.<\/p>\n
Society \u2018expects\u2019 children to establish acceptable behaviour patterns, and educators often face the problem of how best to manage behaviour we find challenging. We often search for \u2018strategies\u2019 or answers rather than considering what we may change or do differently.<\/p>\n
Utilising the principle of reflective practice (EYLF\/MTOP), this session will inspire and motivate you in your work to support children to make sense of their behaviour whilst meeting your goals of building strong relationships.<\/p>\n
