This year marks the 80th anniversary of Children\u2019s Book Week, eight decades of celebrating the joy, power, and magic of reading in the lives of young Australians.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Why Book Week Matters in Early Childhood<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the early years, books were more than just stories.
