It encourages meaningful action that strengthens relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians to benefit all children, families, and communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>What &#8220;Bridging Now to Next&#8221; Means for Early Childhood<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the early years sector, we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to help shape the next generation&#8217;s understanding of respect, equity, and inclusion. The environments we create and the educators we employ play a powerful role in fostering cultural awareness and building respectful relationships from the very beginning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;Bridging Now to Next&#8221; is about acknowledging the steps taken so far while committing to the work still to be done.
